Miss America Fall Down! In what Shoes?

Does anyone know what shoes Crystle Stewart wore when she fell on stage? I would bet anyone she wore cheap shoes.
These women should wear well constructed shoes with proper balance when competing in stressful pageants. They spend large sums of money on gowns but opt out to spend the same on properly constructed shoes made in factories by artisans. Practicing your walk is just not enough.

Are you Documenting your Life?

Today I read a poem that stated ” a birth certificate states your were born, a death certificate says you have died and a photo documents your life”

I thought to myself “Am I documenting life?” I don’t take nearly enough photos of my friends and family. I will make a conscious effort to take photos to capture life as it passes through me.

Where is the Italian Vogue: The Black Issue?

So this morning I walked to the newstand to pickup the new Italian Vogue that hits stands in the US on friday.
Ok , I am so excited! The first magazine I see was Vogue Paris and then British Vogue (OMG who knew they had a Bristish Vogue) learn something new everyday, Anyway, where is the Italian Vogue? I asked the sales guy. He says ” I’m trying to get it” As if they are detained at customs.

When do you have the right to the Blog other people?

Oh My God! I don’t know about ya’ll, but I have the right to blast anybody that ask stupid questions too early in the morning. You have no idea the shit that people say to me in the morning. I will share this with you.
So at 8:40 AM a guy approaches me. “Mind you I have sleep in my eye and sleep walking to Starbucks to get a coffee. This guy is wreaking of liquor at 8:oo in the morning. He says, ” I just got off the bus to talk to you. Then he says, he has to be at work at 10:30 and that he lived on Wilshire and Wilton, he owns a condo and do I want to go with him to his condo. He repeated, I did get off the bus for you.” LOL.
People, I wish I had my camera to take a photo of him so I can share with you the face of a man that drinks at 8:00 in the morning and thought he could pick me up with ” I got off the bus for you”. It took so much out of me not to cuss him out. I politely walked away to Starbucks to get a coffee. Just wanted to share my daily occurrence. And that’s just one.

Should you spend money on wedding shoes?

Today a girl came into the shop looking for wedding shoes. The first question she asked was how much are the pearl pumps by Le Silla. Mind you, she just came from the custom design shop trying on her wedding dress. Then, she proceeds to say she would be standing all day and the pumps were too expensive. I would think because you are standing all day you would spend money on shoes that are well constructed, and happens to be stylish. I don’t know that’s just me. I guess she will spend the least amount of money on shoes and her feet will hurt the entire day of her wedding. The only memory she will have of that day is her feet hurt.
