Travel Diary 

I enjoy Fashion, Food & Footwear and often inspired by Art, History and Music.  What better place in the world to rendezvous than Paris.  My favorite song by Josephine Baker "J'ai deux amours, mon pays et Paris (I have two loves, my country and Paris)."

    • Musee du Louvre is undoubtedly the world's greatest art museum.

    • Arc de Triomphe commissioned by Napeleon towers 50m above Place Charles de Gaulle, the vast traffic roundabout from which 12 boulevards, including the Champs Elysees, radiates

     

    • Inside the Louvre nestled in the towering ceilings, encrusted in gold, C'est Magnifique

    • Cathedral of Notre Dame, built between 1163 and 1345, is a masterpiece of French Gothic architecture.

    • Basilique du Sacre Coeur, is one of Paris' most recognizable landmarks crowned like a wedding cake. One of my favorites because it's located in Montmartre known for a bohemian village feel with narrow twisting cobblestone streets, and street artists.

    • Eiffel Tower is named for its designer Gustave Eiffel, this icon of mass tourism reaches a height of 320m. The panoramic views from any of the three levels are breathtaking.

     

    • Footwear Forecast for 2010 will be bolder colors and grander ornaments to surely stop traffic.

    • Opera House is by far the most beautiful place ever seen.  I often sat at an outdoor cafe and gazed at the architecture.
